Dr Derek Chan performs surgery on politician!

Dr Derek Chan has successfully performed eye surgery on ex-politician, Nyunggai Warren Mundine AO at Chatswood Private Hospital.

Mr Mundine is an Australian Aboriginal leader and politician. He has had professional relations with both the Labor and Liberal parties. He was the National President of the Australian Labor Party (ALP). More recently, he represented the Australian Liberal Party in an unsuccessful run in the marginal seat of Gilmore on the south coast of NSW.
